This whisky might is most likely a blend of malt and corn. The fat stills produce a very weighty and complex spirit and despite the youth and lower ABV, it still delivers a rich texture and complex aromas.

Iwai has a richness and texture that many of the other entry level Japanese whiskies do not achieve. This Iwai blend is part of the new-age expressions of Mars whisky. Full bodied and perfumed despite its apparent youth and grain content.  

There is a floral aroma of malt and wood. Incredibly smooth with hint of vanilla and toffee.
