An exceptionally rare Japanese whisky created by Ichiro Akuto, bringing together 20-year-old malt whisky from the legendary closed Hanyu Distillery with grain whisky from the equally historic Kawasaki Distillery.

Both distilleries have long since ceased production, making their surviving stocks increasingly scarce. This unusual Malt & Grain bottling captures liquid from two lost names in Japanese whisky history in a single release.

Bottled at 46% ABV, its understated Japanese label bears Ichiro Akuto's name, reflecting the early Venture Whisky era and his role in preserving and bottling precious stocks inherited from Japan's whisky past.

A fascinating and increasingly difficult-to-find bottle for collectors of Ichiro's Malt, Hanyu and historic Japanese whisky.
