Mars Komagatake Sherry & American White Oak 2011 is a blend of single malts exclusively aged in sherry casks and American white oak barrels.
 
Distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2014, this young whisky remains powerful and very expressive. Rich, strongly marked by an intense peat, it is also marked by typical fruity notes of whiskies aged in sherry casks, such as dried fruits, grapes, candied apricot or prunes.
 
Mars Komagatake Sherry & American White Oak 2011 is a single malt without any compromise that marries wonderfully fruity of sherry casks and intensity of peat. Bottled in only 5200 copies, it proudly represents the crafted handwork and the expertise of the small Shinshu distillery, nestled in the heart of the Japanese Alps.
